How To Make Your Own Kraft Paper Shopping Bags

Kraft paper shopping bags are all the rage these days. They are sturdy, eco-friendly and stylish. Plus, they are easy to make! Here is a quick and easy tutorial on how to make your own kraft paper shopping bags.

You will need:

-Kraft paper

-Scissors

-Ruler

-Pencil

-Stapler

Step 1: Cut your kraft paper to size.

Using a ruler and pencil, mark out a rectangle on your kraft paper. The dimensions of the rectangle will depend on the size bag you want to make. For a small bag, you will need a piece of kraft paper that is 15 inches by 10 inches. For a medium bag, you will need a piece of kraft paper that is 18 inches by 12 inches. And for a large bag, you will need a piece of kraft paper that is 20 inches by 14 inches. Once you have marked out your rectangle, use a pair of scissors to cut it out.

Step 2: Fold and crease your kraft paper.

Fold your kraft paper in half lengthwise and crease it with your fingers. Then, open up the paper and fold the bottom edge up to meet the top edge. Crease this fold with your fingers. Next, fold the paper in half widthwise and crease it with your fingers. Finally, open up the paper and fold the left edge over to meet the right edge. Crease this fold with your fingers.

Step 3: Cut the handles.

Using a pair of scissors, cut two handles out of the kraft paper. The handles should be about 4 inches wide and 10 inches long.

Step 4: Staple the handles to the bag.

Place the handles on the inside of the bag, about 2 inches from the top edge. Make sure that the handles are evenly spaced. Then, use a stapler to attach the handles to the bag.
